RideKC - Transportation Services for Gardner Residents

If you have no means of transportation or are looking for an alternative to driving, RideKC is at your service. Check out some of their transportation options for Gardner residents below:

1) RideKC Freedom is a shared ride program providing affordable curb-to-curb transportation for registered residents of Johnson County. Rides may be provided by RideKC vehicles or through a local taxi provider (10/10 Taxi) that is scheduled by RideKC.

2) RideKC Freedom On Demand offers on-demand, curb-to-curb or door-to-door service to older adults (65+), persons with disabilities, and persons with low-income (150% the poverty level). Service and hours are Monday-Friday: 6 a.m.-6 p.m. The cost varies per mileage (0-10 miles=$5.20). The reduced fare is $3.20 per trip + $0.75 per zone per trips outside of Johnson County. (This service requires an application process.)

3) RideKC BUS provides public transportation throughout Johnson County. Bus route 596 connects workers to jobs near New Century Parkway and Logistics Park KC, with multiple stops in Gardner. The route also goes to the 3-Trails Park & Ride at Bannister Road and Blue Ridge Blvd. It runs Monday through Saturday, from 5 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. The full schedule and map are available online at RideKC.org.
