Drug Take-Back Day to take place on April 27
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will hold its annual National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 27. The Gardner Police Department and Cosentino’s Price Chopper have once again teamed up to allow residents to participate locally.
On this date, residents will be able to dispose of unwanted medications at Price Chopper, 830 E. Main St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Disposal is free and anonymous, providing participants the opportunity to easily rid their cabinets of expired, unused or undesired prescriptions. Restricted items include aerosols, inhalers, injectors, needles, and unsealed liquids.
