Public invited to participate in time capsule project
The City of Gardner and the Gardner Edgerton Chamber of Commerce invite the public to participate in their time capsule video project on Friday, May 3. The time capsule, populated with video logs, will be buried at the new Gardner Justice Center during the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the building later this summer.
A camper will be set up in the parking lot of Price Chopper at 830 E. Main St. Individuals wanting to make a video contribution can do so from the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to respond to a predetermined question or statement, or share a personal message of their own.
The time capsule will be reopened in 2044, 25 years from the present. Video services provided by InstaFunKC Photobooth.
