PRESENTATIONS

1.     Join with the Mayor in congratulating the Staff of the Kill Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant for winning the 2012 Kansas Water Environment Association Plant Award
 

2.     Join with the Mayor in congratulating the staff of the Kill Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant for winning the 2012 Kansas Water Environment Association Plant Safety Award
 

3.     Join with the Mayor in recognizing Danny Hackler, Caleb Hunt, Morgan Lloyd, and Jim Melvin for five (5) years of service and Sgt. Steve Benz for fifteen (15) years of service to the City of Gardner

Members of the public are welcome to use this time to make comments about City matters or items on the agenda that are not part of a public hearing.

CONSENT AGENDA

1.     Standing approval of the minutes as written for the meeting on September 17, 2012
 

2.     Standing approval of the expenditures prepared on September 10, 2012 in the amount of $50.00, on September 14, 2012 in the amount of $104,664.71 and on September 20, 2012 in the amount of $154,711.08 
 

3.     Consider acceptance of a public utility easement located at the proposed QuikTrip site on Main Street west of Moonlight

NEW BUSINESS
 

1.     Consider canceling the Gardner Spillway Improvement Project and authorizing the City Administrator to take necessary actions to terminate existing contracts relating to the project
