No. 2248 - An Ordinance providing for the description and survey of certain lands necessary for the construction of certain improvements to the public infrastructure owned by the City of Gardner, Kansas, in the City of Gardner, in the City of Gardner, Johnson County, Kansas; declaring it to be a public necessity to acquire said land by condemnation for such purpose and directing the City Attorney to make proper application to a judge of the District Court of Johnson County, Kansas for the appointment of Commissioners to appraise said land and to conduct condemnation proceedings relative thereto. No. 2250 - An Ordinance regulating traffic upon the streets, alleys and highways of the City of Gardner, Kansas; incorporating by reference the “2007 standard traffic Ordinance for Kansas cities” and all acts supplementary and amendatory thereto, prepared and published in booklet form by the league of Kansas Municipalities; amending articles 1 and 2 of chapter 14 of the code of the City of Gardner, Kansas 1990 edition, with certain deletions, omissions, changes and additions; prescribing additional regulations; and repealing ordinance no. 2214, under the provisions of K.S.A. 123009 through 123012 and K.S.A. 123301 and 123302. Passed and approved this 3rd day of December, 2007.

No 2251 - An Ordinance fixing certain standards of conduct for persons within the City of Gardner, Kansas; making violation of any such standards a public offense, subject to penalty; incorporating by reference the “2007 Uniform Public Offense Code for Kansas Cities”, and all acts supplementary and amendatory thereto, prepared and published in booklet form by the League of Kansas Municipalities; and repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, under the provisions of K.S.A. 123009 through 123012 and K.S.A. 123301 and 123303. Approved this 3rd day of December, 2007.

No 2252 - An Ordinance providing for the annexation of certain real property located in Johnson County as requested by the property owners by written petition to and within the corporate limits of the city of Gardner as zoned “a”, all as provided by and under the provisions of one or more of the provisions of Kansas statutes annotated, 1991 supplement 12520, and all amendments thereto appertaining; and further providing for the filing of a certified copy of this ordinance in the office of the register of deeds, county assessor, county clerk, and county election commissioner of Johnson County, Kansas.
