Business License Information

The attached New Business Checklist will guide you as to the permits and fees required by the City, County or State.

The City of Gardner requires licenses for the following businesses operated within the City limits:

• Retail sale of cereal malt beverages
• Drinking establishments/private clubs/caterers
• Massage therapist establishments

Retail cereal malt beverage or drinking establishment licenses are obtained through the City Clerk's office.  An application and payment are required on an annual basis and proof of State license is required for a drinking establishments.
