The City of Gardner, Kansas is a general purpose municipal government located in Johnson County, Kansas. It is a home rule unit, as defined in the Kansas Constitution, and operates under the Mayor-Council form of government to provide for the health, safety and welfare of Gardner residents. The Mayor and Council appoint a City Administrator that is responsible for the day to day operations of the City.
