The Human Resources Department is a service-oriented department that provides leadership in promoting, implementing, and administering sound human resource and risk management policies, procedures, and programs.  These programs assist in recruiting, developing, motivating, and retaining a highly-talented, committed, and diverse workforce.

The mission of the City of Gardner Human Resources Department is to assist the City of Gardner by providing quality human resource services responsive to the changing needs of employees and management.
