ORDINANCE NO. 2258 

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE RANGE OF SALARIES AND COMPENSATION OF VARIOUS CITY OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF GARDNER, KANSAS, EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 23, 2008 AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 2208, 2240, AND 2256 AND ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF GARDNER, KANSAS:

SECTION ONE:  In accordance with the provisions of the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the City of Gardner, Kansas, the following appointed officers and employees of the City of Gardner, Kansas shall have the following pay ranges:

SECTION TWO:  The following officers and employees of the City of Gardner, Kansas shall receive the compensation within the range of salaries as hereinafter provided:

SECTION THREE:  The City Administrator shall set the individual employee's salary and compensation which shall fall within the salary and compensation ranges established by this Ordinance.

SECTION FOUR:  Ordinance No. 2208, 2240 and 2256 are repealed in its entirety and all other ordinances of said City in conflict herewith are hereby amended to conform to the provisions of this Ordinance.

SECTION FIVE:  The range of salaries becomes effective on the 23rd day of February, 2008.  This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
