The Utility Advisory Commission provides guidance and recommendations for all utilities of the City including water, wastewater and electric. 

Meeting Schedule

The Utility Advisory Commission meets each month on the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. All meetings are open to the public.

Utility Advisory Commission Members

The Utility Advisory Commission consists of five members appointed by the City Council.  Members serve without compensation for four year terms.
 
The City of Gardner is currently accepting applications for one position on the Utility Advisory Commission. The Utility Advisory Commission provides guidance and recommendations for all utilities of the City including water, wastewater and electric. Preferred members shall be at least 18 years of age, a registered voter, a resident of the City of Gardner, and a customer of one of the City’s utilities. Individuals wishing to be considered for this volunteer position are encouraged to submit a formal application.  Apply to serve on the Utility Advisory Commission. Applications are due by Friday, November 1 at 5:00 p.m.  Please contact the City Clerk at cityclerk@gardnerkansas.gov or (913) 856-0945 with any questions.
