The Filion ATA Martial Arts Breaking Barriers program offers martial arts training to children and adults with cognitive or physical handicaps. Tailored to their individual needs, these students learn to participate in a structured class, designed to bring out the best of their abilities at their own pace. The combination of physical fitness training and their taekwondo achievements will develop a strong sense of self-confidence, focus, balance, discipline and self-esteem.

The Filion ATA Martial Arts Breaking Barriers students are taught by nationally certified instructors that will treat every student with respect, patience and a keen understanding that everyone has a barrier to break through in life.

This class is a four session class. The cost of the program through Gardner Parks and Recreation Department will be $45.

The Filion ATA Martial Arts Breaking Barriers program is part of the Gardner Strong! initiative.
