Gardner City Council
David Drovetta
Dave has lived in Gardner since 1987. He currently works as the Director of Quality Systems at Physicians Reference Laboratory in Overland Park, Kansas. Dave's public service began as a Gardner Planning Commissioner in 1993. He was elected to the Gardner City Council in April 1995 and has served in that capacity since. Dave is currently the President of the City Council.

Mark Raney
Mark has lived in Gardner since 1989. His public service began with the City of Gardner when he was appointed to the Planning Commission in 1999. Mark served on the Planning Commission until his election to the City Council in 2005.
City of Edgerton
Frances Cross
Frances Cross has been a resident of Edgerton since December, 1983. She has been involved in City Government since 1988. Frances served on the Edgerton City Council and, for the past eleven years, has served as the Mayor of Edgerton. Frances enjoys spending her free time doing volunteer work in the Community.

Sam Boyajian
Sam is a University of Kansas graduate pharmacist, who, along with his wife, Stacy, has owned Gardner Pharmacy for 9 years. He has lived in Gardner for 8 years and is the 2006 Chairman of the Gardner Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Sam also serves on the Board of Directors of the Kansas Pharmacy Service Corporation and the Governing Body Board for Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital in Gardner.

Lee Metcalfe
Lee Metcalfe has been Executive Director for the JCAC since 1989, and is the chief executive for the Airports Organization, reporting to the Airport Commission. He is a graduate of the University of California with an MBA and of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, and is an Accredited Airport Executive. Lee served six years in the Marine Corps as a combat pilot and achieved the rank of Captain. He was previously the vice-president/chief administrative officer of a multinational engineering and manufacturing company and was chief executive for the government of Eagle County, Colorado.

Scott Coup
Scott is the Vice President of Commercial Lending with Solutions Bank, where he has been employed for over eight years. Scott was instrumental in the decision to locate a branch of Solutions Bank in Gardner which opened in 2002. He has been a member of the Southwest Johnson County Economic Development Corporation since 2003 and is currently on the Board of Directors, serving as the Secretary/Treasurer. Scott is also a member of the Finance Committee of the Gardner Edgerton School District and is a former member of the Gardner Rotary Club.

Ron Ragan
Ron Ragan and his wife, Kay, own UGM, LLC, a natural gas consulting and management company that provides services for municipal gas systems nationwide. He is the Regional Director for Constellation New Energy, the United States' Number 1 competitive energy supply company to large industrial, commercial and retail customers. Ron has been a citizen of Gardner for 13 years. and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from the University of Kansas. Ron is currently a member of the USD 231 School Board and has coached both basketball and baseball for Gardner Parks and Recreation.

Gideon A. (Gabe) Brown
Gabe has been a home builder and land developer for the past 28 years, having developed several new home subdivisions containing in excess of 1,000 homes within Olathe, Shawnee and Lenexa. He is currently developing a new subdivision within the City limits of Gardner, which will be named 'Symphony Farms' located West of Waverly Road on 167th. Gabe is very interested in being involved with how this exciting project affects the City of Gardner and looks forward to getting started.

John Kirgan
John has been a resident of Gardner for 25 years. He has worked 22 years for a municipal government, currently as a Division Manager. John has also served three terms on the Gardner City Council. John is involved in the Santa Fe Trail Relay for Life, a cancer research fund raiser for the American Cancer Society. He also belongs to and is active in the Gardner Rotary Club. John attends King of Kings Lutheran Church in Gardner and currently serves as Congregational President.

Dan Wehmeier
Daniel Wehmeier is the Sr. Pastor of King of Kings Lutheran Church and Open Arms Lutheran Child Development Center. He received a B.A. from Concordia University in Irvine, California and a M. Div. from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. He is currently in his 4th year of studies in the Pastoral Leadership Institute in Santa Ana, California. He has been serving and will continue to serve on regional and national events and committees associated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. He is an active member of the Gardner Chamber of Commerce, Gardner Rotary Club and Gardner-Edgerton Ministerial Alliance.

Planning Commission
Eric C. Schultz
Eric C. Schultz, P.E. has been a resident of Gardner for eight years and is married with three children. A resident of the Cottage Creek neighborhood, Eric began working with the City government in 2002 as part of a neighborhood group to form the benefit district that has resulted in the purchase and development of Stone Creek Park, located between the Cottage Creek and Pumpkin Ridge subdivisions off South Moonlight Road. Eric's involvement in this effort led to subsequent appointment by the Mayor to the Gardner Planning Commission in 2003, where he has served the City up to the present time.

Shirley Bruce Brown-VanArsdale
Shirley is the owner and President of Bruce Funeral Home, Inc. located in Gardner, Kansas, having been a licensed funeral director since 1976, working in the family business. Shirley graduated from Gardner High school and the University of Kansas with a BS degree. She is a Graduate of Kansas Leadership 2001. Shirley served on the Gardner-Edgerton-Antioch USD 231 School Board for 20 years and is an active member of the Gardner Chamber of Commerce. In 1997, Shirley was elected to the Johnson County Community College Trustee Board. She is also a member of the Gardner Museum board of Directors.
