Attention teens! Gardner Community Theatre is proud to present an opportunity for area youth to star in an original production written and directed by Marc Wayne. "Jacks and Jills" is a 1940's era musical that centers around a group of kids who spend their days at a hangout sponsored by a local church. In an era of tempting jazz and wild dancing, the kids are conflicted by the beat of the street and their obligations to their faith. When the center faces closure, the kids use their talents to save their beloved hangout. Featuring hit jazz tunes like "Jive & Wail," this show is sure to put a snap in your fingers and a bounce in your step. Don't miss your chance to be directed by Mr. Wayne, whose credits include; Joseph & The Technicolor Dreamcoat, Guys & Dolls, The King And I, Fiddler On The Roof, Aida, The Culture House, Storling Dance Theater, Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders, Wylliams/Henry Contemporary Dance Company, Maxxas Dance Theatre, and St. Louis' The Big Muddy Dance Company.
