Coach Scott Schaefer and members of the Blazer staff and players will instruct campers in the basics and fundamentals of basketball.
Each camper will receive individual attention, as well as small group instruction in order to improve her basketball skills. Emphasis will be placed on fundamentals, dribbling, shooting, and footwork. Each camper will have the opportunity to improve her skills and develop an increased enjoyment for the game of basketball.
Coach Schaefer just completed his second year of coaching for the Gardner-Edgerton High School girls basketball team, after spending the previous 16 years at McPherson where he worked with both the boys and girls teams. In 25 years of high school coaching, his teams have been to state 17 times, winning 6 state championships.
