Be a Cowgirl or Cowboy for a day! Introduce your child to the fun world of horseback riding! Each child will spend the day getting to know and working with one horse. They will learn basic horse care, riding instructions and the different events that you can do with a horse. Goodie bags for the kids will be provided by the Gardner Parks and Recreation Department. At the end of the session the child will get their picture taken with their horse as well as receive a free t-shirt!

The instructor, Norma Hunter and staff are active horse people. They have much experience in giving lessons, showing, training, judging, rodeoing and working with youth. All horses have much experience working with children and new riders.

Each class is limited to 4 riders, so sign up today!
