Theater In The Park
For the second year in a row, Gardner Parks and Recreation and Todd Burd from the Gardner Edgerton High School Music Department are joining hands to create Theatre in the Park! The following theatrical performances will take place in Gardner’s Amphitheatre, located in Cornerstone Park. Cabaret is a form of entertainment featuring comedy, song, dance and theatre. Don’t miss out on these shows; they are bound to entertain any audience! See descriptions below to learn how you and/or your child can be a performer. Registration will be accepted at the Gardner Parks and Recreation Customer Service Center located in City Hall or online.

Theatre for Kids Camp
During this 5 day camp, your child will learn basic singing and acting skills. Each day the kids will rehearse and prepare for their big début! Snacks and drinks will be provided each day but each student will have to supply their own lunch. A different, complete musical performance will be performed the evening of the last day of camp. The entire community is welcome to watch this free, fun filled show!

Community Cabaret Show
If you’ve got talent, we want to see it! Join us for the 4th Annual Community Cabaret Show! Sign up as a performer or come out and watch the show. Open auditions will take place on June 23rd and 24th. Please bring your own music and accompanist (a pianist will be available if you do not have your own). Weekly rehearsals will be scheduled at a later date. They will be dependant upon the performer’s schedules. The final show will be performed on Saturday, July 12th. Audience, bring your lawn chairs and blankets, kick back and enjoy the show!
