This 3.5-acre recreational area is located at 30100 West 151st Street . The area features two park shelters below the Gardner Lake dam, all in which have been recently renovated and two are available for rent. In addition to the shelter repairs, a new boat dock was recently built and the Parks and Recreation Department has cleaned up the area by trimming and removing the damaged trees.
Gardner Lake is approximately 125-acres. Any size/type of motor boat is permitted, however, it is a no wake lake with a speed limit of 10 mph. Fishing and boat permits are no longer required by the City, but boaters must obtain permits for both fishing and boating from the state.
Gardner Lake is the location of the Gardner Parks and Recreation Annual Kids' Fishing Derby!
