The Public Works Department is committed to providing invaluable services to the residents of Gardner, as well as a safe and pleasant work environment for their employees. 

The department consists of three divisions, Operations, Water/Wastewater, and Engineering.  Within these divisions, the department manages and maintains City engineering, public rights-of-way, streets, traffic signs and signals, water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and collection and stormwater management.
