The Engineering Division is involved in the management, design, construction, administration, and review of all capital projects and development containing infrastructure. Engineering staff also does long term planning of infrastructure for projected growth, plan reviews of new developments, coordination of utilities, and is often the City's liaison between federal, state, and local agencies.

The City Engineer maintains and updates the Speed Limit Map as determined necessary and appropriate by engineering and traffic investigations.

 

The City Engineer also designates and updates the Truck Route Code and maintains the Truck Route Map as determined necessary and appropriate by engineering and traffic investigations.
