Resident Information
Welcome to the Resident Information section. This portion of the website is designed for current and future residents of Gardner. Included are common topics of interests to residents and other resources that you might need.
From schools to libraries to weekend warrior projects to neighborhood information, this is your section. Let us know what you like about this section and what else you would like to see included!
Property Maintenance Reminders
It's that time of the year again when we must prepare our homes for winter, both inside and out. Being a good neighbor requires that we continue lawn care, properly care for trees by removing dead limbs/branches, and branches overhanging too low over sidewalks. This is also the time when we need to properly store recreational vehicles for winter. RV’s and trailers cannot be stored on the street or your driveway, except for 48 hours each month to load and unload for your vacation getaways. Recreational vehicles and trailers need to be stored in the garage, one on the side of the house, and/or one in the backyard. For more information, please contact Community Development, Codes at 913-856-0913.
Junk is not allowed to be stored in your yard. Please take the opportunity to remove the items before winter by contacting your waste hauler. Inoperable vehicles cannot be stored in the street or your driveway. Cars that cannot operate due to flat tires, accidents, no motor, or not having current tags must be stored in an enclosed building or garage. For more information contact Public Safety at 913-856-7312.
