2010 SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Starting December 1, 2009 the Gardner Parks and Recreation Department will be accepting applications for seasonal positions for the 2010 Summer season. Applications will be accepted through February 1, 2010. For further information, call the Gardner Parks and Recreation Department at 913-856-0936. Applications can be found online or at City Hall, 120 E. Main Street, Gardner, KS 66030. Return completed applications to City Hall, attn: Gardner Parks and Recreation Department.
POSITIONS AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Umpires - Must be at least 14 years of age. Primary responsibilities include umpiring baseball and/or softball games, working 1 to 5 nights a week, some weekends are possible. General knowledge of baseball/softball rules is a must. Applicants must provide their own uniform and attend a mandatory training session. $20-$35 per game.
