Permanent Signs
Permanent business signs within the city limits require a sign permit.
Along with a completed Sign Permit Application, please submit the following documentation to the Codes Division:

Along with a completed Sign Permit Application, please submit the following documentation to the Codes Division:
- A scale drawing showing the dimensions, material and colors of the proposed sign. If not to scale, include all dimensions.
- A scaled plot plan of the lot indicating the proposed location of the sign. If not to scale, include all dimensions.
- A drawing or photo showing all existing signs and the square footage of each sign.
- Written approval to erect the sign from the property owner (if applicant is not property owner or legal tenant).
The fee for all permanent sign permits is $30.
Temporary Signs/Banners
Temporary business signs/banners within the city limits also require a sign permit but there is no permit fee. Along with a completed Sign Permit Application, please submit a drawing of the proposed banner which indicates the dimensions and the content of the banner.
