Tai Chi

Tai Chi is often referred to as meditation in motion.  It is a non-competitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching promoting flexibility, balance, and physical control.  To do Tai Chi, you perform a series of postures or movements in a slow, graceful manner, coordinating movement with breathing.  Each posture flows into the next without pausing, ensuring your body in constant motion.  Anyone, regardless of age or physical ability, can practice Tai Chi.  It does not take physical prowess; rather Tai Chi emphasizes technique over strength.

Gardner Martial Arts is pleased to offer this 8-week session exclusively through Parks and Recreation.  Instructor Beau Ahrens has been teaching martial arts and Tai Chi for over nine years.  $50 per person for the 8-week session and participants should be at least 16 years old.  Class size is limited to 20 people, so sign- up early.
